Who is Sleeping Rainbow Adventures?
Sleeping Rainbow Adventures is a local outdoor guide and adventure tour company based in Torrey, Utah. Owners Allison Moist and Mason McCord are extremely passionate about Southern Utah, offering their unique set of skills in interpretation and knowledge of the local geology, history, archaeology, and astronomy. Our mission is to share epic, memorable experiences with you while protecting and caring for our public lands so future generations can enjoy them after we’re gone. We practice Leave No Trace principles and sustainable outdoor ethics are a top priority.
Trip Details
Zoom Meeting- September 14, 2022
We will have a group Zoom call at 7 PM to go over gear, expectations, questions, etc. to make sure the group is prepared for the weekend ahead
Day 1- September 16, 2022
We will meet at our beautiful Airbnb just 15 minutes from the gates of Capitol Reef National Park.
Day 2- September 17, 2022
We will wake up and have a group breakfast prepared for us. At noon we will meet our guides to take us through a beautiful slot canyon in Capitol Reef National Park. After we complete our hike we will head back to the Air Bnb to have another group dinner before joining our guides for a bonfire and s’mores! Here they will have telescopes to let us view the stars and share their knowledge about the astronomy.
Day 3- September 18, 2022
Sunday morning we will wake up early, eat breakfast, and head out to meet up with our guides again! This time they will be waiting with jeeps to take us on the iconic jeep tour to the Temple of the Sun and Moon. Once we arrive, we will have a guided yoga session on the rocks to connect with nature. After we finish our jeep tour, we will head back home, or if you choose keep exploring the national park!

Friday
Meet any time after 5 PM to check into our Air Bnb. There is plenty of space in beds for everyone and they are first come first serve priority. Some participants may have to share.
Saturday
Noon- 5 PM Guided slot canyon hike
6 PM Dinner
7 PM Stargazing tour + Bonfire
Sunday
10 AM- 3 PM Jeep tour to the Temple of Sun and Moon + Yoga
3 PM Head home or keep exploring with other girls!

Cancellation Policy
Utah Adventure Girls holds $50 of reservation in the event of cancellation.
There will be no refunds issued after September 2, 2022. You are always welcome to find another adventure girl to take your place!
