We’ve teamed up with Sleeping Rainbow Adventures to offer an all-women’s outdoor adventure filled weekend! We’ll spend 2 days in Capitol Reef off the beaten path: Jeep tour, hiking, stargazing, and yoga!
Who is Sleeping Rainbow Adventures?
Sleeping Rainbow Adventures is a local outdoor guide and adventure tour company based in Torrey, Utah. Owners Allison Moist and Mason McCord are extremely passionate about Southern Utah, offering their unique set of skills in interpretation and knowledge of the local geology, history, archaeology, and astronomy. Our mission is to share epic, memorable experiences with you while protecting and caring for our public lands so future generations can enjoy them after we’re gone. We practice Leave No Trace principles and sustainable outdoor ethics are a top priority.
Trip Details
Day 1- April 23, 2022
We will meet at our designated camp spot and get set up before taking off on our adventures! Early afternoon we will meet our guides to take us through a beautiful slot canyon in Capitol Reef National Park. After we complete our hike we will head back to camp to make our dinners (or go into town if you prefer!) before joining our guides for a bonfire and s’mores! Here they will have telescopes to let us view the stars and share their knowledge about the astronomy. After we finish stargazing, we will go back to camp to sleep under the stars.
Day 2- April 24, 2022
Sunday morning we will wake up early, eat breakfast, and head out to meet up with our guides again! This time they will be waiting with jeeps to take us on the iconic jeep tour to the Temple of the Sun and Moon. Once we arrive, we will have a guided yoga session on the rocks to connect with nature. After we finish our jeep tour, we can take down camp for everyone to head home, or if you choose keep exploring the national park!

Saturday
Noon- Meet to set up camp. You can arrive at camp anytime before 2 PM! If you do not want to camp, there are Air BnBs or hotels nearby.
2-7 PM Guided slot canyon hike
7 PM Dinner
8:30 PM Stargazing tour + Bonfire
Sunday
8 AM- 1 PM Jeep tour to the Temple of Sun and Mood + Yoga
2 PM Head home or keep exploring with other girls!

Appropriate footwear for hiking
This can include hiking boots, light hikers, trail-running shoes, or sneakers

Gratuity for guides
CANCELATION POLICY
We offer full refunds with more than 72 hour cancellation notice for Jeep tours, guided hikes, yoga, and private and public stargazing tours. 48-72 hour notice will receive a 50% refund. No refund will be provided with less than 48 hour notice of cancellation, however options are available to credit your payment towards a rescheduled or future tour. We encourage everyone to obtain travel insurance in case of last minute cancellations to be covered.
